Our association was founded in 1991 as a non-profit organisation that provides a forum for NGOs working in the fields of nature conservation and environmental protection, sustainable tourism, youth, leisure activities and culture. Since then, ETE promotes sustainable tourism in Germany and whole Europe - a tourism that is environmentally friendly and socially responsible.
We inform travellers and experts from the tourism sector and tourism politics about sustainable forms of tourism. Furthermore, we plan and implement model projects, which focus on regional development through environmentally and socially friendly tourism - often in protected areas and mountainous regions. Since many years ETE is active in Central and Eastern European countries.
If you have questions, comments or requests, please do not hesitat to contact us. And if you wish to cooperate with us we would appreciate a message from you!
